I recently got a robo-call from an “ agency” purporting to be the US Treasury Dept. The robo voice said there was a warrant out for my arrest, and all I had to do was give them some info to clear it up. On a whim I punched the “1” button to speak to an “agent”. I informed the clearly “English is not my first language“ voice on the other end that I was agent Terkel of the US Treasury and I wanted to speak to his supervisor. Stunned silence, then a fumbling excuse. “He is not here right now”. Then I said “When he gets back, why don’t you both **** each other?” And hung up.
