WTB Scammer?help

I could just be being paranoid here… but the language being used is coming across just a little odd? Seems familiar to other types of conversations I’ve seen on CL scams and so on… if you are real, I apologize and mean no disrespect, just want to make sure I am being smart

Definitely seems like a scam….words like Pal and Bud….plus some of the wording just seems off

I’d ask for a phone call and some pictures via text. Also, if you are concerned, only pay via PayPal goods and services. I know a lot of people here have a hate boner for recent changes to PayPal’s tax policies, but it’s the best way to protect yourself.

This day and age even pics with paper with their name written on it are easy to fake. Request a phone call video chat through any number of apps, or a zoom call/etc over the internet.

Has he replied to the pic request with the box?? OR, ask for his paypal, if it looks like a fishy address then thats another red flag... Im guessing we will get a "I cant send a pic right now because...." excuse. My gut is telling me this is a scam, and i've been pretty accurate with those feelings lately... move on is my recommendation unless he agrees to PP G&S!

I had my first scammer give me his number, visit on the phone with me, send me video of the gear, and send pics of the item he had no intention of sending. So, this is not an "end all be all" solution. Just my .02
