Scarpa break in?

I absolutely obliterated both of my heels on a September hunt this year in the Charmoz. I had tried to break them in on some small hikes and they were OK but after 9 miles into my spot, my feet were F^%#ed up sooo bad. Hunted 5 days with every step stinging and have not worn them since...PS they are available in the Classifieds right now! Tread is still 100%. Don't mind the blood stains on the heels (kidding on that one).
