Scarpa Sizing?

What's been your experience with Scarpa sizing? Looking at either the Triolet or Grand Dru. I'm a 44/10.5 in Hanwag. A guy I may buy slightly used triolet's from said he's normally a 44 but needed 44.5 in these.

I'm usually a straight across 12, yesterday I got some scarpa approach (low top hiking shoes) in 45.5 which I guess is USA 11-3/4 and they fit perfectly.

I guess if I were going to buy some scarpa boots I'd get a 12.

I find them true to size. My foot measures a straight up 11 on a Branock device and I wear 11 Scarpas.

My Scarpa Revolutions are true to size, somewhat narrow, and have low volume in the toes.

This has been my experience. Backcountry.com is sending a second pair a half size larger so I can compare. Great customer service

I wouldn't mind knowing how this works out. Really like this shoe but can't keep it in the long run because of the volume.
