I have a Bushnell LRHS 4.5x18x44 looking for scope cap sizing. Have used the butler crk but they tend to want to fall off or are to small.
Was looking at vortex defender series for the price and mostly positive reviews. Have seen conflicting sizes noted for the same model so hoping to get some clarity on the Bushnell lrhs in particular. What are you guys using and what size caps.?

The caps cover a small range of diameter so it's probably gonna be a bit loose or a bit tight. If it's tight work it on there and take your time. Rubbing alcohol will help it slide, residual evaporates afterward. If it's a bit loose, wrap a thickness or two of electrical tape around the objective.

Don’t waste your money on the vortex! Fricken junk! Unless you want to buy caps and tape them on, then they are alright.

If you dont mind spending a bit for a better product

His stuff is all backordered, everything Iv ordered has shown up in a few weeks. Caps sit flat, have a plunger like the butler creek caps as well.

Tenebraex caps are alright too if you can find a set to fit.

Tenebraex, are what use. Haven’t had any issues with them. They fit “ cleaner” then most also.
