Scope Help

I need some help with two items if you guys don't mind. I have absolutely no idea which is why I'm reaching out in this form;
1) Lever Action Marlin .44mag - Probably nothing very far but maybe the best brush scope..... Maybe like a hundred yards - again total noob help me?
2)bolt action Remington .30-06 - The longest range I can get

Let's say for the 30-06 budget $400-500 tops - lever action maybe 300 depending...

Marlin Leupold fixed 2.5x is a proven setup. I had mine set up that way until I put a XS peep and white line post front which is it much faster and easier carrying set up in my opinion.
