Just got home from an extended weekend of scouting in South Texas with a few neat deer I thought y’all might enjoy.

Happy hunting, y’all.

In indiana baiting has always been illegal but walmart meiers and billy joe bobs sport shop sell out of it every year. It takes nearly zero skill to kill over a pile of bait so im glad i had to learn to outfox the most cunning animal on the planet

Nice bucks - don't worry about the nay-sayers.

If the area doesn't have the genetics and hold em, they wouldn't be there.

go dump out some corn in South Georgia and have fun killing “easy” deer lol. In my experience the more they’re baited the more they become nocturnal. I live when ppl from places where baiting is illegal y’all about about how much easier it makes it.

Deer do not turn nocturnal because you feed them corn, duh! It's you, human scent, figure it out

Hate to break it to you but you’re wrong. When it first became legal I jumped on the bandwagon. I only took corn in when I hunted. Now hunting the same spot all weekend for deer for Years, I saw deer 90% of sits. After 3 weeks of putting corn out that first legal season it went down to almost zero. Now I only put corn out when I was going in to hunt anyway, so enlighten me how I had extra scent by carrying corn.

So you carry the corn in when you hunt, hmmm, the deer don't even know it's there for two or three days, till they find it. So with intellectual thinking no one in the Midwestern USA would ever see a deer in daylight because our fields are full of corn wow and I always see deer

Yeah I carried it in every Thursday evening to Sunday. By Friday afternoon the first week deer were all over it. I sat and watched them and got them on camera then by 2 or 3 weeks later most all activity was at night. I didn’t put out corn the next season and like manic they were there during daylight.
But you live where it’s illegal and can’t do it, so you’re right I’m sure you know all the ends and out. I forgot inexperience is the best.

Someone forgot the first commandment of "Thou Shalt Not Be a Dick"

I'm not a big fan of the feeder thing but I'm not hardcore against it and it's almost a must have in S TX.

Good lookin deer though!
