Was the end cap failure (loss) a result of the titanium suppressor body? Or the aluminum anchor brake? Or do you know?

Also its interesting that the can didnt separate at a weld like the documented failures. Can you say what caused it to come apart and cause the separated baffle you posted a photo of?
 
It looks like you intentionally destroyed it with the .556 is that correct?

I am looking at this can for a bolt action.

Looks like it was just a failed end cap- that’s not a big deal.

The can bulged at the weld like most of failures, and it absolutely will fail there if shot at all. As for the baffle- it isn’t just one. Most of the inside of the can is a disaster- there are entire sections of multiple baffles missing, and the rest look like a tornado went through them. As for why- it’s because the can is dangerously, ridiculously thin.
 
I was thinking the photo you posted friday of the single baffle was from this can but it must not be if the can is still largely in one piece.
