SE WY deer

Has anyone ever hunting mule deer in or around Lusk, Manville area? I am hunting the area for antelope in October and I’m considering drawing a deer tag also. The deer units are split by the highway so I’m trying to determine if unit 13 or general T is the way to go. I know most of the land is private and I would have too high of expectations but any insight would be appreciated.

We might be in that same area this fall also. Some friends hunted pronghorn there last year and saw a fair amount of mule deer.

I live here in Laramie and it is my opinion you boys could defintiely find deer in Region B. Even though there's not much public ground, just go to this site and check out the Walk-In Access areas. Wyoming does an incredible job of giving guys options even in most private areas.

Whitetails used to rule over that way but mule deer have come back.
Get there for the sportsman banquet beginning of season and make some landowner contacts.
Like stated, lots of walk in and HMA hunting over there but it gets hit.
