Anyone know what size of evac bag would be needed for a set of rain gear? Would the 8 liter be too tight?

I would say the long handled spoon. I used a spork for years before I realized I never actually use the fork part. Spoon lets you get into the corners of your Mountain House bags and get the last bits.
