UPDATE
went with Courthouse. Did awesome, we pack with a few stock, so it was a nice tradeoff for comfort and space, but WAY lighter than a wall tent. Sleeps 2 guys on cots with all gear, 2 chairs and stove...easily will sleep 3 on cots and being careful with gear/space....also nice for when we got stuck out by road and needed to pitch for a night. Would NOT backpack this as just too heavy. Ran a carbon pole (vico marine pole off ebay super cheap)... Courthouse is a great option for spike camp if you have ability to pack in....if backpacking would run a teepee.
Thanks for the update. I was just deciding which tent to go with. A couple questions though, how much was your carbon and how has it held up?

The tent held up great...the vico marine carbon pole was like 60 bucks on ebay (120 total as you need 2)...the carbon pole held up fine, dropped/fell/thrown around truck bed etc...pretty stout....that is, until this Oct when we got 14" of heavy snow on the tent -> snap! Fortunately we were just camping by the truck then so broke out the alum seek outside pole....so would use for early season spike camping but probably avoid the carbon in the snow
