One of the lightest most durable and versatile tents I've tried: Li'l Bug Out (LBO) shelter. This has protected me in driving rain and solid wind at +11,000' elevation.
Here's what I have (All clean, no rips/tears/stains):
(SOLD) LBO Base + Vestibule (w/ stovejack) $335 TYD (incl. stakes, orange/relective guy-out cordage, mf'd extension pole)
This is good for a tight-fitting pair of hunters with gear inside (no stove, obviously)
(SOLD) LBO Connecting Tarp $120 TYD (no stovejack---you can buy it from SO, even have them install it if needed)
I had plans for this in my kit that never materialized. Never been in the wild--needs seam sealed (stakes, cordage, sealer included).
