Looking for some input comparing these two shelters. The immediate need is to hold three dudes and a stove, but ideally I could put a family of 4 (little kids) in it in fair weather, so no stove. I have a JimmyTarps Hudson, similar size to a Cimarron, and I'd bet I could get the whole fam in there with a stove but it'd be damn tight. We are modestly sized folks. :)

Let's look at the specs...

Redcliff
$874
83 oz all in (no stove)
132 sq feet / Sleeps 6 without stove / Sleeps 3 with stove

LBO Base Tarp Base
$889 with a stove jack and two poles
64 oz all in (this seems light, maybe this doesn't include stakes?)
Sq ft not published / Without Stove - 6 / With Stove - 4

So, looking at this, the LBO is lighter, bigger, and modular. I would guess it's not as stout in a stiff wind and takes longer to setup. Did I analyze this correctly? What haven't I considered? Why do people buy Redcliffs?

We ended up going with individual tents but my group was looking at these earlier this year and standing height was a big factor. If we were packing that much shelter we wanted to be able to stand up.
