I do not consider myself an expert at calling moose but wanted to share some video and observations from a recent hunt.

We were dropped on 9/10 and shot this video that afternoon when we couldn't hunt because of same day airborne rules. There were two bulls pushing two cows around a lake south of our camp:

The next morning we called in the larger of the two bulls using bull grunts and raking. We were about 3/4 mile upwind of where he was the night before.

We called in about one bull a day and only used grunts and raking except for 9/13. We used only cow calls on 9/13 because my partner heard a cow the night before. After that we resumed bull calls and raking because we heard no more cows (but were seeing cows). Continued to get good responses with grunts and raking.

Not scientific or conclusive, but interesting to me. I was surprised that big bull left the cow he was working so hard the evening of 9/10. I guess she wasn't anywhere close to ready and he chose to keep searching.
