SG Kiowa vs Kifaru 357 Mag

Very similar it seems. Major difference being load carry capability? 357 looks like it has functional load lifters? Other thoughts from those who have or have had these packs?

I have a frame pack but am looking for a day pack in the size range of these packs but that will also carry a load (boned meat) if needed.

What frame do you have currently?

I put an SG Kiowa on a Kifaru frame, it is fantastic. I even had @pods8 sew a Kifaru style sleeve onto the top of the bag.

I have a new Kifaru tactical. Formerly had a SG xcurve and 5900. I don’t find the tactical frame nearly has comfortable as the xcurve for day hunting. But the xcurve couldn’t haul weight nearly as comfortable as the tactical.

Thus I’m looking for a day pack and will use the tactical when I do multi day hunts and pack meat.

But I want a day hunt pack that I can haul heavy on the first trip out.
