Shape Charge vs Mini Keg for day pack

I currently have a mini keg that I used it last year for an elk hunt day pack and felt like it was too big for just putting clothes in for layering, rain gear, water, and necessities. I had lots of wasted space.

For those that have used the shape charge is it a good size for day pack? The storage pockets looks better on the SC than the mini key.

Our guide provides a frame pack and don’t need to haul heavy loads, just what we need for the day.

I appreciate you thoughts and comments.

Thanks

I use my shape charge as a day pack for whitetail hunting. Based on what you have listed it sounds like it would be perfect for you. If you decide it isn't quite big enough you can always add a sherman pocket or two belt pouches to the back of it. I use a sherman with mine and I have been very pleased with it.
