They are a PITA to sharpen. Best advice I can give is use a sharpie to mark your bevels and take your time. I had decent luck using different types of fixture sharpeners, but never did find a really effective way to sharpen them. Never could get them quite as sharp as I can get a straight edge.
I debated just dedicating 1 set of blades for practice, and buying a new set to only use for hunting.
I Love the Evo broadhead design, but sharpening them is my one gripe. So much easier to sharpen a straight edge.
I believe this will do the trick. The Wicked Edge sharpening system is obviously the best. That is if you wan't to shell out 500 for a sharpening system.
I pull the bleeder, install the main blade back into the ferrule, then use my little work sharp sharpener and finish on a leather strop. Same with my other brands of heads as well
