Shipping a long gun from Canada to USA?

I have a question about my father shipping his long guns from Canada to me here in the US. What are the legal papers we would need or do we since he is my father. I cant seem to find any information on this process. Thanks in advance.

The other question I have is, what about all his reloading supplies, from presses to powder and everything in between. Is there any formalities for shipping these goods from Canada to the US. Again thanks for the help?

I’ve been through this process before. For the firearms you will need to have an FFL submit a Form 6 to the ATF for approval. Google “importing firearms”. I brought mine across myself, so I can’t offer you advice on a carrier.
The reloading presses and tools probably won’t require any special permits. The powder and primers will for sure and it might not be worth the hassle. I’m not sure about brass and bullets (components) but y out should be able to figure it out on the ATF website.
