Is there anything to consider if you have a slightly unlevel shooting range? We are buying a new house and I think I can put in a 300 yard shooting range. In my calculations it would be in the neighborhood of 2-4 degrees off level, which seems pretty small. The difference between shooting distance and true ballistic range could, obviously, be taken into account, but it is pretty small, especially at 100 yards.

Not enough to matter. I checked with my .308, and my vertical correction goes from 3.96 moa at 300 with a 0° angle to 3.90 moa with a 5° angle. Less than ¼" at 300 yards.

When I shoot across the east 100 yard field here it shoots high as the elevation is somewhat lower. never had a transit and grade pole to say how much but not a lot…
Uncle told me years and years ago before we moved here and he Was correct.
