Are they more forgiving for short drawer archers? I have a 25.5 inch draw and could possibly be looking for a Mathews Tx5 for more speed. I'm pretty sure I've read that short brace height bows are less forgiving, but do they become slightly more forgiving with this short of a draw? TIA

I’m a 27.5” draw and don’t find my 6” brace bows any less forgiving than my 7” brace bows. The string is a little closer to your arm though so proper grip is more important if wearing more clothing.

I'm a 25.5" or 26" draw depending on the brand and prefer shorter brace heights. I want all the power stroke I can get so I can shoot a heavy arrow. With a short draw, our arrows are on the string for less time than an average or long draw archer. That means less time for bad form to alter arrow flight. With proper grip, clothing contact is a non issue.

A shorter brace height will never be more forgiving. The arrow is staying on the string longer, leaving more room for error.
