I figure I would share this as I know a lot of questions come up about elk combo for archery for those of us with short draws. Was fortunate enough to take a nice bull yesterday. I am currently shooting a Mathews V3 68lb 25.5 inch draw. Arrow setup is VAP TKO elite 350 4mm diameter standard 50 grain outsert with iron will S100. 402 grain total arrow weight. I shot this bull at 63 yards broadside facing left and hit him with a follow up shot on the right side at 85 yards. First arrow zipped right through complete pass through and the second dropped in through vertebrae and into the lung. Please take this for what it’s worth as ones persons singular experience but could not have been happier with arrow performance. I’m impressed you can get 68lbs out of that draw length. My V3 is at 28.5” and draws at 72. Great looking bull by the way, congrats! Punched my tag a couple days ago. I’m at 475g finish weight with 12% FOC. The shot broke the offside shoulder in half at the joint. Didn’t hit the scapula but shattered the top of the beer can size leg bone at the shoulder socket. Really happy with the performance all around
