My wife only allows me to hang one mount at a time and it ALWAYS has to be in the exact same place so it doesn’t mess with the rest of “her decor”. When I killed him I knew a shoulder mount was out of the question, but at least she let me go, so I’ll take what I can get.

Had cape and antlers shipped from Canada. Can’t remember what that cost. $1,000ish? Taxidermist charged $1,000 to mount including removable antlers. It’s currently in storage. Hopefully I’ll have it back on the wall soon as I buy a new house.

Mine had to go in the shop with my elk and a few of my deer. I only have so much wall space and low ceilings in the house. I pretty much have that space filled with deer so unless it's a huge deer it goes in the shop now. I kinda like the euro mounts up there anyway. If I'm working on something I'm usually broke down and not in a great mood so seeing the mounts and remembering the hunts is nice.

Mine too. I'm hunting caribou in 2020 and Sitka Blacktail the first year after that the draws don't treat me great. Got AK in my blood after the first trip and I will keep going back as often as I can afford it. I'm sure glad I got my moose when I did, the cost is really climbing on those hunts.

If preparation, determination and luck collide, I hope to have mine right here....

Moved into this place June 1, and put the renters into my old place same day. Hell of a weekend. Baby on June 20. House not my style, but it does have open water access and a great spot for a moose!

They sure do surprise you with their size. Even the smaller ones take up a few inches of space!
