Almost like some people have been saying that...
Yeah...I was doing some ”light” reading and instantly remembered this discussion about references and rigor for why a 10 shot group as opposed to something else.

I’m just chapped that I‘ve seemingly lost records of my app purchases and will need to rebuy one or two if I want the easy route to mean radius (or deviation/error, etc.).

I have a 6.5 cm and 300 wm both t3x with stainless barrels. They both shoot factory ammo around .75 moa for 3 shot groups. If i were to shoot more than 3 shots and not let the barrel cool all shots past #3 are way off

I’ve never seen this happen in person only have read about this happening online. Post up a video I’m super curious on this one.

Does the last .75moa group from a cold barrel land in the first .75moa group? If it doesn't then like form said something is wrong. If it does, then it could be barrel heat causing mirage on shots 4-5, or you are getting flinchy. This definately happens to me with my .30-06 battue. My 2 cents anyways...

Do you have any idea what could be off? It happens like clock work. shoot 3 .75 moa shots...4,5+are way off... let the barrel cool.... 3 more .75 moa shots

Moose above has the most likely causes. Do you have the barrel bumps still in?

Make sure that the barrel is fully free floated. As in throw a dead cat through the gap floated.

Battue .30-06. Random 165 gr test loads
Is your battue still an open sight rifle or did you scope it? I have a semi custom battue in .30-06 that I LOVE, it's still open sights and is probably my 2nd favorite rifle I own (open sight Winchester model 61 takes #1 always lol).

Here's one I shot recently. Stock t3x in 308 with an SWFA 3-9 in leupold backcountry rings. Ignore the numbers on the shots, just the order I selected the shots in but not order fired in. Ammo was Hornady Black with the 168gr amax. Not what I'd like to shoot preferably but shot the best of what I've found locally recently. Consistently .6-8 for 3 shot groups. Shot marked #4 was a flyer I called from the bench.

Mine is scoped as it's my primary hunting rifle. When I settle on a load then I'll set up the irons too. Kind of a poor man's custom as aftermarket stocks are outrageously expensive up here in Canada.20210908_124137.jpg
