I am wondering if anyone is making a pocket that is designed similar to the pockets on the Kifaru nomad 2 and fulcrum but attach to the frame via k clips or buckles and uses compression straps to suck tight to the bag or around a load?

3 tab loops on each side and a center zip.

It’s close but it’s shorter wider and narrower, without the pouch on the like the other pockets. I was just curious if anyone is making them.

you are talking about a nomad without the back panel, correct? The pockets just attaching straight to the frame...
If so, I was thinking about that the other day...

So I talked with David at Native Textiles and he hooked me up. I Currently run a Fulcrum or a Stryker so I cut the pockets off of the fulcrum and sent them in. David did an awesome job sewing in D loops and taking the straps off of the pockets and making a couple more compression straps for me. I’m pretty excited to run the pockets on either pack. When I have a chance to get it loaded up I’ll post a couple more photos.F387327F-8C96-4BDB-9FE8-28329D945EAD.pngF387327F-8C96-4BDB-9FE8-28329D945EAD.png4A43E4DE-3ECE-4268-93B6-E042791EC2C1.png2C7457D8-B6A4-4D10-8F34-0D4479EADB8C.png94DECE49-B562-49FE-8AEE-07C42461E62F.pngD00D4B21-6088-4968-B226-4A1D5E5B8015.png

Nice, I have an Eberlestock Mainframe with the zip on side pockets and was thinking about making some pockets like this idea attaching similar to the way you have done for my other packs.

Haven’t gotten to carry an animal with it but spent 5 days in the wilderness fly fishing and chasing bucks.

Hey Kulshan. Kind of resurrecting an older post, but really interested in what you did here. Have you had a chance to use this setup more? How does it work when you use the wing pockets with the Fulcrum after you cut them off? I have a Fulcrum and like it, but sometimes it would be nice to not have the wings and other times it would be nice to not have the bag. Sometimes would be nice to have the whole system. I like your idea. Thanks.

If I were to change anything it would be to send in the fulcrum too so that I could have a tab up toward the top of the frame. I didn’t take many pack pictures last year but that setup with either the fulcrum or Stryker was in the field 30-40 days last year.

Ok, sure. I understand. Probably could still send the Fulcrum in for that modification. Really like the system you have.
Thanks. -Rufus
