Been a long-time lurker here at Rokslide, decided to finally jump in with a post. I've been running a black gold ascent on my Elite bow for a few years now and I'm really happy with it; however I noticed my point of impact changes slightly when I go from lower elevation to higher elevation. I shoot quite a bit at both elevations since I have a place in the mountains and down low. Do you guys sight in at your hunting elevation or just make adjustments knowing the change in POI?

Not enough to matter. And I shoot at 200’ and 8000’ regularly. Focus on your form and the rest will fall into place.

I hunt in Ut at 10,000' and AZ at 300'. One year I went down to AZ and the POI was all off. I messed with pins until I realized my peep changed on me. Once I got it tied in right, I had no more issues. I do not change for elev changes, but as always when I arrive, I shoot some arrows to verify nothing got bumped,
moved or messed up.
