Sirui customer service?

What’s been everyone’s experience? A buddy has one of their CF tripods and the center pole will barely extend. He sent it in and they said he either bent it or he got dirt in it, either way the warranty was void. The tripod is in like new condition and shows no signs of abuse. I’m hesitant to consider them after that experience.

Hey Joel, I'm considering a tripod upgrade and I'm very partial good warranty service. Do you recall if this issue was resolved? Any other feedback on warranty claims with Sirui vs Slik??

My buddy didn’t follow up. He said he didn’t have time to deal with their bs and went with slik.
