I'm looking for a lightweight, compact pan head for my Nikon Monarch 10x42s.

Would you recommend the va-5?
What did you use it with and why sell it now?

I've not used tripods with optics very much so any info or advice you share might help me make a purchase

Yes it's a great tripod head I just have to many of them and use my outdoorsmans panhead more and have no use for this. But I did use it with 15's and my 95mm spotting scope
