Sitka heavy weight bottom or merino??

Just wondering what is better between the Sitka heavy bottom base layer or Sitka heavy merino bottom base layer? I will be using it for whitetail hunting and trout fishing. I don’t expect walking very far to the tree stand. I have some Kuiu merino zip offs but wanted something a little thicker. Are the merino base layers better given the price? This might be dumb questions but I like to try and research everything before buying and can’t find too much comparisons between the two. Thank you!

Heavy merino! I picked up a set this year and they’re incredibly well made.. if they’re anything like the light merino they’ll be perfect
