looking at a medium or large in this. What are your stats that made it a bit tight if you don't mind sharing?

5’10” 160 lbs. I’m a bit of a lifter so it was a bit snug in the chest. Arm length was good. Torso was a tad short but would have been fine.

I’m guessing large would be a tad too big as well. I’m always right between on Sitka stuff. For that money though you want to fit right.

For other reference. The heavyweight and lightweight fit perfect in medium. Apex fits well in medium. Kelvin lite I want a large, traverse I want large. Typically the more athletic fit stuff I want large and less so stuff or base layers medium is best. Hope that helps

Really liked the jacket though very comparable to Patagonia nano puff with thicker outer material and camo obviously.

I'm 5'9" 160-165lbs. Very athletic build and had the same issue. I sold my medium and got the Large and its perfect! I felt the Apex was a bit too snug in medium. The Heavyweight I preferred in Large, same with the Jetstream, Kelvin Lite Down, Core Lightweight Hoody and Cloudburst Jacket. Large just works better for me. I hate snug fits, especially when I start layering. I could have gone
Medium with the Kelvin Lite Down but I'm happy with the large. It can even fit under my Jetstream and Cloudburst if need be.
