agreed! I have one in subalpine and absolutely love it for hunting, just like my lite down more for everyday wear around town. i think you need two

based on my experience, it is very good for most situations in the wind. NO, it does not have windstopper, and it is not wind proof. But, i would say it is like most other high quality puffy jackets with a very tightly woven fabric...very good in the wind but not windproof. I use a wind shirt that's always with me....or my jetstream jacket in addition to this if it gets real windy, but for most situations...this jacket will have you covered IMO.

for reference, according to Sitka's site, this has a 4/5 for wind protection.
