I’m still trying to decide Chamberlain or Kelvin WS. I’ve had 5 oz down fill weight puffys and they just aren’t cutting it come late October and November in Western Montana. 5 oz is about right in September but if it’s 30’s and under I need more even for a lunch/rest break. Been leaning toward the chamberlain but just can’t decide if the lack of wind blocking is going to equal out with the Kelvin WS. I plan on wearing over a lightweight synthetic base layer, Peloton 240 and axis jacket anytime I stop to eat, rest, or glass. I do like the lighter weight and greater compressibility of the Chamberlain but ultimately those don’t matter if I’m not warm so that by far outweighs any other feature or benefit. Form’s post on the first page pretty clearly shows the chamberlain is warmer and if I remember Ryan’s take was the same or similar in that the Kelvin WS didn’t feel as warm as it should be
