Sky 6900 with Kowa 883 (angled)

Hey folks,

Have called around to reps and cannot find the answer to this question. I read somewhere that the Kowa 883 spotter does not fit into the side spotter pocket of a Stone Glacier Sky 6900 bag. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Maybe it would fit, but not with a case on it?

While you could deform the bag so the side pocket conforms to the 883, the shape of the pocket will be fighting the shape of the 883 once the bag is filled. I've also tried SG's extra spotter bag but it's a real tight fit and stresses the zippers. The best place I've found to carry my 883 on the 6900 is simply sandwiched between the top of the main compartment and lid. It's works well as anytime I need to access the main compartment I will stop to look through the spotter anyway. I also feel it's safer up high than on the side.

So shifting gears then, does anyone have experience with an angled Kowa 773 in the side pocket of a Sky 6900? Seems like that should fit.
