This will actually keep you warm at zero degrees and is a rectangular bag for $254:

With a rectangular bag I'd look for a long wide insulated blow up pad. If you look around for deals they can be found look at Exped, Klymit and Thermarest or Nemo.

O degree rectangular synthetic and "light and small" don't belong in the same sentence. They're gonna be bulky, just the nature of the beast. Are you going to pack this bag in, or just truck camp with it?
