Slik 824CF

So camera land has the deal on the slik 824CF tripod. I'm trying to decide if it is a value add for my hunting style.

I currently carry a bogpod tripod and shoot off it if I need to be up above brush. It does ok for that. Weighs about 3lbs.

I am running 10x50 vortex hd binos and hunt out west for antelope, deer and elk.

I don't mind spending money, but I have plenty of stuff sitting in bins that I bought and don't use. Always trying to find the balance.

What I am trying to figure out is will the 824 likely elevate my game? Is it something that is going to add value to me in the field over a bogpod.

Bogpod is too heavy to carry far. You can do much much better.
