Smackdown rest on a BowTech issue

Hey so am I just being picky about how my rest is set up in my bow? the containment shroud hits my riser above the shelf so I have to have my rest back about 1/4". Just seems wierd. thought about getting a QAD ultra BowTech as it would fit better. Am I thinking too hard?

Your over thinking it. My smackdown fits great on my Revolt X

No issue, once you get it shooting well try torque tuning, likely going to bump the rest back even more anyway.

I have Smack downs on my two Prodigys, and Carbon Icon and a Vapor Trail on my Wifes Carbon Rose. All of the sit back off the shelf about 1/8-1/4 inch and don't even have to. Just the way I've always set them up.
