Any chance for a Small game forum under the hunting forums? I think we need some squirrel, rabbit, etc action.

Y’all might be making jokes, but pine squirrel is good eats. I wish I knew more about hunting rabbit. I kinda just wander around until I spot one running along and I wish I knew a better way.

A couple buddies and I were going to try out archery hunting Jack Rabbits, no bag limit all season. Maybe we will get lucky hitting one, but I agree small game can be mighty delicious!

There was at one time that Peterson publication wouldn't hire an outdoor writer unless they owned at least one quality 22 rimfire. It was one of the questions asked during their interview.

Personally I really enjoy hunting small game either by myself or with my kids.
