Would like to shoot a few rabbit or squirrel to eat on my upcoming antelope hunt. Anyone ever do this? Anything unexpected I need to know? (I'll be using my 22 pistol with a supresser). I have tag for private land on 29 but will likely be hitting the walk in areas on at least one day.

I assume you have a small game license, but make sure you are familiar with the small game regs before popping a rabbit. I would be very surprised if you found squirrel in 29. If I were banking on something small to eat, it would be a snake.

Rabbits were up a few yrs ago, seems like a lower yr this yr. But yes, there shouldn't be an issue with finding mr. Cottontail. If memory serves me the daily limit is 10 with 20 being possession limit. I usually chase them in January.....monster backcountry buck...rabbits. Eley subsonic hollow points work well.
