Been hunting Mule Deer in WA since the mid 80's and Idaho for about 15 years in the 90's and early 2000's. Then I caught the tuna fishing bug and spent most of the fall chasing tuna instead of deer for number of years.
Sold my boat a number of years back and switched careers and now I get at least 2 months every fall off from work (2021 I'll have 3.5 months off!).
First did the high buck hunt 25 years ago and myself and my hunting buddy were the only hunters we saw for a week. Last year I went with a couple buddies and there were 25 rigs in the parking lot! My how things have changed!
Was just getting ready to head out yesterday and some shifting fires made us pump the brakes and regroup. Chose a new spot and depart in the morning. I've never been to the area so we will see how that goes.
