I have a 300 win and a 6.5 PRC in the havak ph2. Both are sub .5 MOA guns. 300 win shoots H-1000 and 215 Berger’s. 6.5 PRC shoots H-1000 and 156 Berger’s. Great rifles and now straight jacket armory is doing prefits with tons of caliber choices. Tons of mag room to seat bullets. Good triggers. Both rifles weigh right what seekins says. I can’t think of what is not to love.

Good to hear your PH2's have been great. What does your 300 win weigh?

Looking forward to hearing how it goes with the 156 EOL.

Man I’d love to find an Element in 6.5 PRC to buy, but apparently they are unobtainium. Where the heck are they? If anyone has a lead on where to find one or has one to sell, please let me know (PM).

thanks

Probably all those seekins discount codes that expired last month has em backlogged for a while!

I bought a havak element at the end of June and haven’t heard a word about it since. Not worried about it but hoping I get it before my second rifle season deer hunt. They said 12 weeks when I ordered it but figured it might go past that with all this going on. Seems Covid is really slowing down production on a a lot of stuff.

I think it has more to do with a run on their AR guns with the election looming. Production of the Havak won't change with a new administration, but the ARs could.

I ordered a 300WM last Tuesday (8/11). They told me 90-120 days. If I have it in 2020 I'll be happy.

Just found and picked up a NIB PH1 in 28 Nosler... after 20 rounds its shooting 3/4" with 162gr ELD-X factory... Using a Vortex LHT 3-15 and a Thunderbeast Ultra 7.... excited about how its looking so far! I am a little concerned about the amount of heat the suppressor is putting off after 2-3 rounds though.

Suppressors heat up fast, especially in a magnum cartridge. With my 6.5 PRC, I don't shoot more than 4 or 5 without letting it cool.

A suppressor sleeve will help with the mirage created by the heat. I would remove it to speed cooling between shot strings.

Be careful touching it. It will always be hotter than the barrel.
