The operability of a bimetal cylinder as a constituent element of embedded system under the electromagnetic action of amplitude-modulated radio-frequency pulses at the resonant frequencies of the electromagnetic field is studied. There are established the critical values of the parameters of the electromagnetic action at which the bimetal cylinder loses its load-bearing capacity as a contact joint.
