Something wrong with my rangefinder

Yesterday I was out and about shooting my bow and ranging alot of different targets. I noticed there was a little jagged edge in my viewfinder when I looked through it, then over the course of the rest of the afternoon one little jagged spot turned into a bunch. Any idea what's going on with this?

Is it a vortex ranger?
This was my first one, which was replaced under warranty.

And this is my second one after having it 2 weeks

Mines not a Vortex but that looks like the same issue. Did Vortex mention to you what's happening to yours?

They say they've never seen it before. I called them when the second one started doing it to ask if it could be something Im doing? Thy said there is absolutely nothing I could do to cause it.

Did they replace your first one with a completely different new one or did they fix it and send it back?

I ended up exchanging this one for another brand new one at Cabelas back in June since I was within the 90 days, and the one I replaced it with just started doing the same thing this weekend! Wtf!

I do in my RX... I am sending mine in soon for repair or replacement. It still works but it drives me crazy.
