I recently bought a 2015 Exo 3500. I have been doing some training work with about 70 pounds. I live in Nebraska so a little bit of hill work but also a lot of flat land. On my first two tries I had to make some adjustments to where I was carrying the load and the figuring out how much to tighten the belt.
On my most recent hike, everything seemed to be going well but I noticed a lot more fatigue in my trap muscles and had next-day soreness in my shoulders and lats. I should add that I used trekking poles on the last hike and was pretty fatigued from a leg workout the day before. Is the trap/lat soreness indicative of any issues with my pack setup or more likely due to not being used to the trekking poles?
Thanks.
