About 60 miles east of Eagle Butte. Super cool mule deer country around the Missouri river. Lots of draws for Deer to live.

Ya that’s nice country over there. East or west river. Have friends that own a bunch of land over there ehd hit the whitetail bad this year

That sucks, was maybe looking at getting a Cheyenne res tag this year. I've always wanted to try hunting that chunk of ground

That pic is from 2016....I think....I'm the guy with the forkie. They did not allow non resident hunters in 2020.

Ya with the deer numbers down there and now the rona they have check points sat up and talking toll booths so who knows what happens to next year. Could produce some world class deer if the poaching was cut back and management was better. Lots of deer die in the headlights out there.

Thinking about heading over to eagle butte area and taking my dad out for a hunting trip for whitetails. If you guys have any insight on numbers and how the herds are doing please DM/PM me.
