Checking in from Highlands Ranch. Moved from Illinois 2.5 years ago and am starting to figure out the non-treestand hunts in the big hills. Cashed in my elk points in 2019 so I’m starting over in CO in 2020. Since I moved, I’ve gotten 2 archery bulls, 1 muzzleloader bull, one rifle cow and a decent muley....all solo. I still go back to Illinois for whitetail, but may start to hunt in Kansas to have a chance for a muley tag there. Also looking at starting to hunt Wyomin instead of Idaho after they increase the cost of the tags next year. Lots of good info and people on this site.
