I've always been anti bipod because I don't like carrying things that only provide one function. I recently ran across the Spartan Davros system and that seems really appealing to me for sheep and all other hunts but wanted some feed back from other lightweight mountain hunters. I'm leaning towards putting the davros pro head on my tripod and fitting my Swaro ATS with the heavy duty optics adapter and all of my rifles with gunsmith adapters. to make it easy to switch between optics and rifles as needed. I've always preferred a ball head for glassing so no worries where that is concerned. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I was not impressed with the heavy duty optics adapter with spotters. Works great with binos up to 18x but didn't shine with a heavy spotter.
I like and use the spartan system
Bipod adapter on the sling stud
Gunsmith adapter near the mag well
Optics adapter on binos.
I leave the davros on my tripod. Change plates for spotter use. Always time to change a plate for spitting g activity but I like to leave the davros on while hunting for shot opportunities
