Hey guys first post here! Been searching for a while now trying to figure out a good tripod setup. Planning on going on my first Idaho mule deer hunt this year. I live in the midwest and hunt whitetails so big optics are new to me. Ordered some Maven 18x56s that I'll be bringing with me. I don't have a spotter so these will be my main longer distance optics. Planning on a phonescope also. Anyhow I recently came across the Davros head. This thing seems like the cats a$$. I like that you can get a low profile adapter for your gun so I don't really need to worry about a bipod.
Is the Davros worth it or should I be looking more for the Outdoorsman Pistol grip or some kind of pan head for glassing? I'm assuming it comes down to personal preference really.
