Found 6 boxes and wanted to hear if anyone has used these on big game. Any one experience would be great. Thanks

I normally use Nosler Accubond 165gr, on top of 71gr of superformance with a WLR primer and get 3323 fps average. But these are out of stock everywhere

Yep thats the bullet I killed a nice 8 point with this year, Ruger #1 30-06 about 90 yards D.R.T.

I inherited an older 30-06 that came with a load of these Speer over 46.5gr of IMR 4895. Shoots great groups but only around 2600 fps. They work well on deer. Only one elk with this bullet and it died quick. I would compare them to a Sierra Game King.

Use the same load rick, good deer round, I hunt the mountains near my home most shots are under 100 yards, but would not be afraid too go further on distance.

Speers site showing them with a .520 BC and a hunting bullet. Pretty high BC?

I have not shoot them at any kind of range to validate BC, but .520 is not to shabby when considering a box went for around $30 back in the day..

No doubt, I'm guessing we'll never see these for $30 again. New normals. What do you plan on hunting with them?
I'm in Az, I plan to hunt mule deer, couse deer and elk, if I draw tags. I do go after bear it's an OTC tag.

You can buy these directly off of Speer's website when available for $31 a box. Traditional cup core construction will be fine for medium velocity cartridges.

I shot those in 308 and '06. They work and stay together at moderate velocities. I found many years ago my speer bullets had more weight variation than Sierra SBT bullets. The speers still shot good. I switched over to Sierra years ago but they're hard to get. Use them and don't look back. Sierra game kings are slightly better I think but can't get them. 150s are at Scheels though. Target is speer/ 308IMG_20211122_095526045.jpg

I like these a lot, I've used them in 308 and 30 - 06 with great results. Excellent performance on deer for minimal money.

It might not be what you want to hear, but above 2800 ft per second those bullets will come apart. They're just not really tough bullets and they're more suited to 45 to 50 g of powder like a 308 or ought six. It ain't an Accubond.
