I have some axis 340 arrows that use 100 grain point and 50 grain insert at 28.5" length, with either aae max stealth or 2" blazers (not sure yet). I was wondering if this spine is okay?
I shoot a 31.5" VXR at 27.5" draw 60#.
My archery shop recommended 400 spine axis at 27.625" length and that seems underspined but I am too new to know. What do yall think? I plan to use these for elk hunting later this year

You should be fine with the .340 and could probably add some point weight if you wanted. With the .400 you would probably want to remove the 50 grain insert.

I was shooting a 27" 400 out of the VXR 31.5 at 62lbs, 29" draw with the standard insert and found jumping up to the 340 grouped better for me even with the standard insert. I would stick with the 340s. You could even shorten them up but it just depends were you like the end of the shaft to come back to.
