Spotter mount for digiscoping?

I have the swaro ATX. I got a phone scope for my iPhone 12 Pro but it seems all vignetted and can’t get it in the right spot on the camera to take good pics.

Is the swaro specific attachment better for this? I was looking at their “VPA variable phone adapter”, any insight? If not, can anyone give some advice on how to make the phone skope work better for me?

Are you using the Phone Skope Camera App?

The adapter may not be centered over the camera the phone is using. When you use the Phone Skope Camera App, you can lock in on whichever camera you want to use at a given time.

If the vignetting persists, try rotating the eyecup in or out.

I'm trying to think back to when I used the ATX for a good bit of time. I think I rotated the eyecup the whole way out and then used a combination of the spotting scope zoom and a little of digital zoom on my iPhone 6 Plus to get rid of the vignetting.
