Spotting scope case/covers

Just purchased a kowa 884 scope from the classifieds and want to keep it protected, what is the general feeling toward a stay on case vs a take off (more transport and use the scope nekked) case?

Anyone have this scope and have any good recommendations for what has worked well for you?

Thanks for any input and open to hearing about other manufacturers of cases other than kowa as well

I just got the newer Kowa neoprene stay on case. It’s very low profile and lightweight but my only issue with it is it doesn’t allow the scope to rotate in the collar. That is a dealbreaker for me. Now I’m looking for something else. Did you end up finding an alternative?
